Solis S2-WL-ST (4-pin / USB) is a new-generation combined data logger supporting both a wireless Wi-Fi connection and a wired LAN (Ethernet) connection. The module is designed for uninterrupted data transmission from Solis solar and hybrid inverters to the SolisCloud platform, delivering maximum connection stability at sites of any complexity.

Overview
Solis S2-WL-ST is a universal data logger (S2 series) that combines Wi-Fi and LAN (Ethernet) interfaces in a single housing. Available with two connector options (4Pin and USB), it connects quickly to the full range of Solis grid-tied and hybrid inverters using Plug & Play technology.
A wired Ethernet port alongside the wireless Wi-Fi module makes the S2-WL-ST an ideal solution for sites with unstable wireless coverage, metal structures or thick concrete walls, where a guaranteed, interference-free connection is required. The device streams generation, voltage, current and battery status data to the SolisCloud service in real time.
The module features non-volatile memory that retains logs if the network connection drops, an enclosure rated for outdoor installation, plus remote diagnostics, fast initial set-up from a smartphone and over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates.

Start from the site's average daily consumption and the peak load the inverter has to carry in off-grid mode. The power range of each modification and the recommended PV array size for it are listed in the product card under "Key specifications" — for a precise selection, contact a Solis dealer or use the form below.

The list of validated batteries is published on the product page — in the compatible-equipment section, where one has already been compiled for that model. The voltage range (LV or HV, depending on the series) is stated in the technical specifications either way. If there is no list, or the battery you need is not on it, contact the Solis Ukraine technical department — compatibility should be confirmed separately.

Most Solis hybrid and off-grid inverters support connecting a generator with automatic start-up when the battery is discharged. Whether a specific model has this function, and how it is wired, is stated under "Key features" and in the "Technical specifications" table of the product card.

It depends on the series: single-phase models are designed for a 220 V grid, three-phase models for 380/400 V. The exact connection type for a given product is stated in the "Grid phases" card under "Key specifications".

Solis equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, which in Ukraine is administered by official dealers and authorised service centres. The exact term and conditions are stated on the warranty card and on the device's rating plate — for registration and the claim procedure, see the Support section.
